I specialize in helping entrepreneurs and thought leaders in the wellness industry, fashion, cosmetics, food and a range of online businesses. However, I’m purposefully offering this particular case study about a law firm – so as to show you my range in creative branding solutions for any and all businesses.

THE BRANDING PROBLEM: Andrew Hale came to me with a problem. His website for his law firm was so jam-packed with info, it didn’t clearly inform what his law firm did – which was specialize in defending police officers in some of the biggest police misconduct cases in the country.  He was winning lots of cases in his field – but his website did not make it clear he had a specialty – plus, made him look disorganized and unprofessional.

THE BRAND HONEY SOLUTION: First I narrow-focused the design of Andy’s site so it was simple, visually compelling and easy to read. I gave him a clear tagline which immediately communicated his specialty: “We’re dedicated to serving and protecting those who serve and protect our communities.” I also made sure the feeling of his site appealed to his target audience (the police) by making his site an appealing “royal police blue.” Plus, I created a wildly popular section called “Hug A Cop” – with inspiring stories about police who are out there doing good in the world. Then I gave his website copy a thorough interrogation that resulted in a complete re-write  – so his “brand differentiator” was powerfully clear on every page.

As a bonus I brainstormed up an organization he now runs – called “Whole Truth Project” – which serves to counter  an organization called “Innocence Project” – which often does not defend truly innocent people. In fact, Andy told me he often finds himself defending his police clients against the “Innocence Project” in court – and so “Whole Truth Project” was born – to tell the “whole truth” about these often unfair court cases.

Finally we applied the right levers to his social-media presence, creating what has become a crazy popular Facebook fanpage for Andy – which quickly reached over 50,000 passionate fans.  Plus Facebook analytics reports Andy’s FB page often reaches 750,000 to 1,500,000 people a week!
